Naomi Yeshiva About Final Fantasy XVI
Greetings to all of you,
The last time we talked, I promised that in the course of the year 2021 I will have more information about Final Fantasy XVI. Unfortunately, I have to inform you that I can not comply with this promise, as the development of the game has delayed for almost half a year due to complications associated with the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Final Fantasy XVI, the latest part of the Final Fantasy series, which is developed for PlayStation 5, has brought together a considerable team of talented developers from all over the world. However, in order to balance the effects of COVID-19, we had to decentralize the workforce by taking the employees to do their jobs from home. Unfortunately, this has complicated communication with the office in Tokyo, which in turn has led to delays — or in extreme cases to cancellations — has led to the deliveries of our outsourcing partners.
However, we spent a large part of the year 2021 to solve this problem, and hope that the impact will be minimized by the new year so that we can better focus on the upcoming tasks: improving the quality of the graphics resources, Refinement of the combat mechanics, development of individual struggles, fine-cutting the intermediate sequences and general graphic optimization. Our primary goal is now to take the game as far as possible in the hand to fully optimize it.
So remains the question of when we can expect the next round to information? I am pleased to announce that the current plan provides for the next big revelation in spring 2022 to make the tension up to the final publication to increase the game.
I would like to apologize to all those who were looking forward to learning more about Final Fantasy XVI, and thank you for your patience, while we focus our joint efforts on development.
