Battlefield 2042: Preload starts in a week - download

Players with access to the Early Access phase can already start the download in a week, 10th of November. On November 11, the early access phase of Battlefield 2042 begins, one week before the official release.

How to take part in the Early Access: You must have either pre-ordered the Gold or Ultimate Edition, or be subscribed to EA PLAY. Who does not fulfill these requirements, must be patient to the actual release.

Battlefield 2042 will be released on 19 November for all players. The Preload starts here on November 17, so two days before release.

But how big is the download? At least for the PS5 we now know how much storage space you should leave.

The download on PS5 drops out: According to the well-known Twitter account of PlayStation Game Size, which regularly reveals the download sizes of new games in advance, Battlefield 2042 will require a surprisingly little storage space on PS5.

So the shooter should need to release 42.717 GB. Here, the Day-1 patch is not included, which should come to the release on November 19th. Maybe the download size will increase again, depending on the scope of the patch.
